The Romance of the Kaftan

The Kaftan first appeared in Persia around 600 B.C, or so history tell us. A beautiful, long flowing, loose garment with long sleeves, resembling a robe and made of soft and sensual fabrics, utterly feminine.
The kaftan served as a symbol of royalty in some cultures and as a symbol of marriage in others throughout it's long history.
